John Spiers & Jon Boden are well known for their involvement as founding members of the big band folk phenomenon that is Bellowhead. They have played together as a duo for over 10 years now and have established themselves as a very well respected act on the English traditional music scene.
Together they play fiddle, guitar, assorted squeezebox instruments, a stomp box and they both sing - a combination which sounds like a two-man-one-man-band! They have played many popular festivals but we think this is the first time they've played on a pond!
Chris Woods is one the UK’s most exciting new instrumental guitarists. Coining the term slap groove to depict his incredible style. At 27 he is already a regular at the world’s biggest and most prestigious guitar shows. Play Music Magazine described him as ‘changing the perceived boundaries of the acoustic guitar’, and Acoustic mag said he is a ‘tour de force of original technique.’ He is sweeping the nation with his lively and charismatic performances, delivering ear bending compositions, with endearing and emotive stories.
